The hotel features charming wood-paneled rooms that embrace a unique historical ambiance, making the stay feel special. Easy access to hiking trails in the surrounding nature adds to the overall appeal, turning every day into an outdoor adventure.
Some rooms lack the promised mountain views, which can be a real letdown for those expecting a scenic backdrop. Noise disturbances can be a nuisance, particularly from rooms facing the piazza, making a quieter retreat hard to guarantee. The spa is limited in size, which could hinder relaxation during busy periods, and certain amenities like the steam room are often cooler than you'd hope. Breakfast options could use a bit more variety, especially for those with specific dietary needs, and the Wi-Fi can be funky at times, which isn't ideal when you need to catch up on messages. Lastly, there could be clearer info about nearby free parking. many found out by chance after paying for parking elsewhere.

I had a wonderful experience, especially enjoying the cozy two-bedroom apartment with a lovely fireplace. The breakfast was delightful and added a nice touch to our stay. we missed the opportunity to relax in the spa before dinner due to our timing. Plus, while the sauna was perfect, the steam room was cooler than I expected, which could be improved.

The reasons I’m conflicted
Charming atmosphere with welcoming staff and an unbeatable location near restaurants and hiking trails. The cozy spa is inviting after a long day of exploring!
Some rooms lack mountain views, and noise from the piazza can disrupt relaxation, making it tricky to find peace.

The Grand offers a wonderful ambiance with a warm and professional welcome that instantly makes you feel at home. The private spa is both clean and welcoming, perfect for relaxation after a day at work. The room is equipped with modern comforts and exhibits a rare price-to-quality ratio. Giovanni at the reception provided outstanding assistance throughout my stay, ensuring every need was met.
The sauna temperatures were inconsistent, being too hot on some days.
